Float Therapy
What do I need to bring?
For your experience to be wonderful, be sure to not shave or have any cuts 24 hours prior to floating. The salt is very concentrated and shaving can create a stinging sensation. You will be showering ahead of the float and after the float. Try to eat something an hour or more before floating so that your stomach is not audible during your float as well. Feel free to bring your favorite playlist and we can connect this into the cabin or you can select from our playlist options. The great thing about floating is to reduce, restore, and rethink for a period of time. It doesn”t require anything but you and is not hard to fit a float in after work or before heading to the gym.
What if I'm claustrophobic?
Having no more water than a bathtub, you have complete control of the door at all times and may go in and out of the cabin at any time, or simply leave it open. Additionally, the cabin has the option of lights and music that you choose. You may stand, sit, or lay down at any point during your float.
How much time do I need?
It may be good to arrange your time so you don’t have to rush. Many people enjoy savoring the peace and quiet before jumping into something hectic. Make sure that you have enough time before and after your session, so that you can transition back and enjoy the post-float glow.
Is there anyone that can't float?
- Most people can float when pregnant and expecting. Consult your doctor with concerns.
- Please contact a doctor if you have diabetes or epilepsy before floating.
- Please do not float with new tattoos or piercings for your comfort, safety and the sanitation of our equipment.
- Do not float if you have recently colored your hair, have a fresh tattoo, or have any open wounds. Please wait to float 5 days after having your hair dyed professionally or at home or if you have used self tanner or a spray tan in the last 5 days.
What do I wear while floating? Am I naked?
Since it is a private experience (your room with the tank is completely private), most people don’t wear anything. Anything you wear will press against your body, becoming a distraction. In this regard imagine it as similar to getting into your bathtub.
How do I prepare for my float on that day?
a) Please refrain from shaving the day of your appointment, epsom salt can sting when in contact with sensitive micro cuts on the skin for several minutes.
b) If you wear contact lenses, it would be a problem if any salt water got into your eyes. If you remove your contacts you don’t have to be concerned about it. Please bring a lens case with you and solution to remove them.
c) If you have caffeine before you float, it may interfere with your ability to relax.
d) We recommend eating a light meal about 1 – 2 hours before your float. If you eat a heavy meal you may spend a lot of time listening to your digestion. And, on the other hand, if you get hungry you may be distracted by that.

Contrast Therapy
(Infrared Sauna + Cold Plunge)
How long should I stay in the infrared sauna and cold plunge during a session?
The duration in each setting can vary based on personal comfort and experience. However, a typical session might involve 10-15 minutes in the infrared sauna followed by a 1-3 minute cold plunge. This cycle can be repeated several times within the 45-minute session, but always listen to your body and adjust the times as necessary.
How is the water filtered in the cold plunge?
In the cold plunge at Radi8 Float Studio, water clarity and cleanliness are ensured through a three-tiered filtration system. Firstly, a 20-micron filter is utilized to remove physical debris such as hair and skin cells. Secondly, circular filtration is employed to continually circulate the water, preserving its quality and contributing to a colder plunging experience. Lastly, ozone sanitation is harnessed to eliminate unwanted microorganisms, thereby enhancing water color and odor, ensuring a refreshing and sanitary cold plunge experience.
How do I prepare for a contrast therapy session?
It’s a good idea to stay hydrated, eat a light meal a couple of hours before your session, and avoid alcohol. If it’s your first time, you might want to start with shorter durations in the sauna and cold plunge to see how your body reacts.
How is an infrared sauna different from a traditional sauna?
Infrared saunas use infrared light to heat the body directly, providing a deep, penetrating warmth, while traditional saunas heat the air around you which in turn heats your body.
What should I wear during contrast therapy?
It’s best to wear swimwear that you find comfortable. The easier it is for your body to experience the temperature shift, the more effective the therapy will be.
How often should I do contrast therapy?
The frequency can vary depending on individual goals and how one’s body responds to the therapy. It might be beneficial to start with once a week and adjust from there, consulting with a healthcare professional if unsure. How does contrast therapy benefit the body?

Additionally, the warmth from the infrared sauna can aid in relaxation and stress relief, while the cold plunge can refresh and rejuvenate the body.
Can I pair contrast therapy with other wellness practices like float therapy?
Absolutely!
Combining contrast therapy with float therapy can provide a comprehensive wellness experience. The contrast therapy can invigorate the body, while the float therapy can help to calm the mind, providing a balanced and holistic wellness routine.
Are there any precautions or contraindications for contrast therapy?

Marconics Energy Healing
What is Marconics?
Marconic Energy is the “Evolution of Energy Healing,” activating the fifth-dimensional body template. It is used as an ongoing energy therapy to assist your Ascension by:
• Raising your vibrational frequency to release 3D programming
• Providing an opportunity to shed karmic density from your chakra system, activating new chakras and bringing your chakra system into harmonic balance
• Creating spontaneous healing, as directed by your Higher Self at Source
• Activating your DNA
• Creating greater connection with your Higher Self Aspects and Source
How often should I get Marconics done?
Marconic Ascension Energy No-Touch sessions can be used as an ongoing therapeutic treatment with cumulative benefits. Unlike other modalities where the energy fades over time to its original state, each Marconic No-Touch session provides a sustained, incremental lift in your vibration every time you receive the energy. No-Touch sessions are especially potent after receiving the Recalibration or Lux Magnum protocols.
What type of healing should I expect?
While spontaneous healings may occur as a byproduct of receiving this pure and high vibrational frequency, Marconic Ascension Energy is not used to treat specific symptoms and you are advised to be open to receive whatever healing may occur whether that be physical, emotional, mental or spiritual.
How does it work? What's happening in my energy field during a session?
Marconic energy works with the Axi-a-tonal lines and nodes in the developing light body. The Axi-a-tonal system interacts with the energy meridians acupuncturists use that carry Prana or Chi in the 3-dimensional body. The Axi-a-tonals are vibratory lines that run through the layers of the body’s form-holding field, the morphogenetic field.
There are power nodes located at key points in the body structure that anchor light frequency into the physical and multidimensional body. Your practitioner draws down full spectrum Marconics frequency and directs it into your field by ‘beaming’ into these lines and nodes. As the lightbody is developing, the frequency of Marconics helps to strengthen and fortify the new field while enabling density, karma, and trauma to be released.
During a Marconic No-Touch session, your practitioner acts as a bridge between the dimensions for your and Higher Selves and Spirit Team to facilitate healing as they deem necessary. Your vibration is raised very high while Marconics frequency is run through your physical and etheric bodies. During the session, you will begin to shed density from your energy field, your pineal and pituitary glands are triggered, DNA is activated, and a connection is made between you and your Higher Soul aspects. Every client’s experience and each session is different as you are receiving exactly what you need from your Spirit Team during the treatment.
What does Marconics do for me?
Your Marconics session enables you to:
• Accelerate your evolutionary process
• Discover your life’s purpose
• Align with your higher mission
• Awaken intuition/ESP & psychic gifts
• Reclaim hidden talents & skills
